Heineken Rugby World Cup 2011 Apparel
Heineken is the global beer sponsor of the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. As part of this sponsorship, a lot of on-premise and off-premise activations took place leading up to (and during) the tournament. Rugby balls, caps and keyrings featured prominently as GWP and scratch-and-win prizes.
IM Promos was commissioned to produce a range of custom-made apparel and luggage before the competition started on September 9th. These jackets, scarfs and trolley bags were given to VIP guests of Lion Nathan, who were travelling to New Zealand to attend key matches.

Universal Music – Bravado
2011 saw some of the world’s biggest artists come to Australia. During this time we collaborated with Universal Music’s merchandise arm Bravado, to develop merchandise to support Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” movie premier.
The following merchandise was produced and packed into showbags which was then distributed to Event Cinemas and Hoyts nationally. The show bags were handed out as a gift with purchase to those that purchased tickets to see the movie.
Jack Daniels Road Case Esky
To tie in with the Music marketing platform for Jack Daniel’s, IM Promos came up with the concept of cross-breeding a rock band’s ‘road case’ (normally used to protect valuable musical equipment) with an esky. And so ‘Jack’s Roadcase Esky’ was born – a fully insulated 90-litre coolerbox on wheels.
From concept drawings to delivery took just 11 weeks, and the 740 units were used as a major Win-In-Store prize in bottle shops across Australia and New Zealand.

Brown-Forman’s premium bourbon Gentleman Jack required a premium whiskey glass for a GWP.

For our client Bravado (the merchandise division of Universal Music), Tote bag, button badge packs and silicon wristbands were produced and sold via an online retail store to support Lady Gaga’s "Born This Way" Australian tour
Sports Items Case Study
Lion Nathan’s quintessential premium US beer Budweiser used these ‘vintage’ basketballs as a highly successful off-premise GWP.
The balls (RRP $49.95) were free when the customer purchased a carton of Budwesier.
Keyring Case Study
A custom-made pewter keying in the shape of an antique safe. Made for Jack Daniel’s (25,000 units) for a GWP for Brown-Forman.
This was created for the JD Heritage marketing platform, and reflects the story of the eventual demise of Jack Daniel, who died from blood poisoning caused when he kicked his safe in a fit of anger, after forgetting the combination!
Novelty Case Study
For a state-based GWP trade activation, IM Promos created a custom-made iPhone cover complete in retail-style blister-packaging.
Customers who purchased any Jack Daniel’s product in-store (6-pack of RTD’s or above) received this stylish iPhone accessory.
Other novelty products that we have produced for Brown-Forman include; Harmonica, Hammer Tool Belt, Safe Keyring, Road Case Esky.
Bar Items Case Study
Premier Media Group commissioned us to supply a visibility tool for pubs and clubs to promote Fox Sports Venues.

Confectionery Case Study
Lion Nathan were seeking a compelling GWP to drive sales of their Boag’s Draught brand on-premise.
IM Promos developed two peanut varieties, influenced by the flavours of Tasmania (Sea Salt, and Wasabi & Honey). Patrons who purchased a Boag’s Draught on tap were rewarded by their choice of peanut
Bags Case Study
To commemorate the football World Cup in 2010, as official FFA licensees we produced 18,000 Socceroos shirt-shaped backsacks as a GWP for Lion Nathan’s Hahn Super Dry brand (HSD being the official beer sponsor of the national team at the time).
The promotion ran in Thirsty Camel liquor outlets – ‘buy a case of Hahn Super Dry to get a bonus Socceroos Jersey Backpack’.
In BWS stores, a 2-case buy got the purchaser a fantastic Socceroos GWP – a custom-designed kitbag with a special end pocket for a premium quality football... both branded Hahn Super Dry and Socceroos. 7000 of these great prize packs were supplied for a highly successful campaign
Anti-Stress Case Study
As FFA licensees, IM Promos created this custom-made can-shaped stressball for Schweppes’s SOLO brand (official sponsor of the Socceroos).
100,000 units were produced as gift-with-purchase running during the 2010 World Cup tournament and proved to very popular brand in hand experience for SOLO drinkers
